An important category of transtextuality is extratextuality which is concerned with the relationship between two literary texts from a certain perspective. The present paper is an attempt to examine extratextual relationships between Najmud-din Razi's treatise "At-toyour" [The Birds] and some of the previous literary works. The findings suggest that, in composing his treatise, Razi mostly made use of some of the treatises of Ikhwan As-safa, Sanaee's "Seyr-ol Ebad El-al Ma'ad" [People's Journey toward God], and Suhrawardi's "Ghesse-ye Ghorbat-e Gharbi" [The Story of Western Solitude]. He also touched upon Nezami's poetical narratives. The most important reasons for the extratextual changes in his book include the specific role of the audience, Razi's authorial style, and the dominant trend in Persian prose of the time. پس از ژولیا کریستوا که اولین باراصطلاح بینامتنیت را در تحلیل روابط متون باهم، به کار برد، ناقدان ادبی زیادی پا به عرصه کاوش متون گذاردند و دیدگاه های گوناگونی مطرح گردید. یکی از این ناقدان ژرارژنت است.او روابط میان متنی را با تمامی تغییرات ممکن آن مورد مطالعه قرار داده و حاصل پژوهش خود را ترامتنیت نامید. یکی از سرفصل های مهم ترامتنیت بیش متنیت است که به بررسی رابطه ی بین دو متن ادبی از منظری خاص میپردازد. در این گفتار کوشیده ایم تا روابط مبتنی بر بیش متنیت رسالة الطیور رازی با سایر آثار ادبی قبل از خود را مورد بررسی قرار دهیم. یافته های پژوهش حاکی از آن است که نجم دایه در تالیف اثر خود، از برخی رسائل اخوان الصفا، سیرالعباد الی المعادِ سنائی وقصه ی غربت غربیِ سهروردی بیشترین تاثیرات را پذیرفته است و در خلال تاثیرپذیری از این متون گوشه چشمی به برخی روایات منظوم نظامی نیز داشته است.مهمترین دلایل بوجود آمدن تغییرات بیش متنی در اثر وی نیز در نقش خاص مخاطب، سبک خاص نویسندگی او و سیر کلی سبک نثر فارسی نهفته است. https://jis.uk.ac.ir/article_4295_6beaaf17bf2c29298dce4d2264e49037.pdf
