Nasir Khusraw's travelogue is one of the credible Persian texts that provides fluent information about the architecture of certain communities. Nasir introduced cities, villages, and towns, he explained the distance between each of them using specific measurement units. In the era, communication systems did not exist in the modern way, but measurement units for distance and dimensions played a significant role in the transfer of information and travel planning, which can be said to have acted as part of an indirect communication system., it seems that these units are not only important for understanding historical geography but can also be regarded as part of the communication and information transfer system of that era.This article addresses this aspect of the travelogue and attempts to uncover the mentioned communication system by extracting these units.This article, which has been organized in a descriptive and analytical manner, has gathered data and information through a library method and has attempted to answer the research questions using logical and traditional reasoning.The results of the research indicate that he determined and introduced these distances and dimensions units such as Farsang, Arash, Gaz, Mile, Step . Moreover, in the travelogue of Nasir Khusraw, the measurement unit "Farsang" has the highest frequency whereas the measurement units "Mile" and "Payeh" have the lowest frequency. The distances and dimensions units in the Nasir Khusraw's travelogue have a main role in the transmission of geographic information, business communication and cultural communication in the Nasir Khusraw's era.
