Abstract

Purpose: The main purpose of this paper is to examine and explain the relationship between "Khish-kari" or function and the performance of Atābak Abu Bakr b. Sa`d Zangi's thought and works, and it answers this fundamental question: To what extent did Sa`di pay attention to the specific tasks of Atābak Abu Bakr in Fārs in order to provide an appropriate solution to overcome the chaotic conditions of society?.
Method and Research: the research method of this article is
Descriptive-analytical.
Findings and Conclusions: The findings of the paper show that Sa`di's concern at this stage of Iran's history is the discovery of disorder and disintegration of existing structures in the society, a significant part of which is the result of the ignorance and indifference of the Mongol rulers towards the "Khishـkari's" system. Therefore, Sa`di tries to motivate the rulers to comply with the principle of "Khishـkari" with recommendations and advices and by presenting successful examples of obedience. It seems that the desired pattern of Sa`di is the society and government of Fārs under the rule of Abu Bakr Sa`d Zangi, which is reflected in his works and describes and praises it.
