The present study examines and analyzes different aspects of agriculture in Ferdowsi's Shahnameh. Persian literary texts should be considered a rich source of terms related to various sciences and disciplines such as: art, sociology, agriculture, medicine and astronomy. One of these multi-knowledge treasures; It is the Shahnameh that the present essay deals with extracting and quantitatively and qualitatively analyzing terms related to the agriculture of the Iranian people in this work. These words are seen in almost all the stories of Shahnameh, directly or indirectly. Based on the investigations carried out in this research, it is found that Ferdowsi wrote the Shahnameh in the context of the events of Iranian society, although in some of his stories, mythology has a significant and prominent appearance and he has distanced himself from history, but in those stories, the words of agriculture It is seen in a special way. This is why these words are highlighted in Ferdowsi's poems. In order to fulfill the purpose of the research; All the examples related to the agricultural profession are extracted throughout this huge work, in seven categories; People active in the field of agriculture, main and side products of agriculture, places related to the field of agriculture, basic elements of the field of agriculture, livestock and other animals related to agriculture, agricultural tools, other terms of the field of agriculture were divided.
